1934-2017

Aileen Wilson Tucker, of Nipomo, California passed away on December 10, 2017 surrounded by family.  She was born on June 10, 1934 to Ova Henson and Ben Wilson of North Carolina.  She grew up on a family farm in the mountains of North Carolina.  After graduating high school she left the comforts of home to experience life.  Her adventures took her to Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington D.C., then on to California, where she settled and raised her family.   Aileen graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in Business.  She went on to work for over 30 years in the Aerospace Industry.  Aileen also enjoyed the busy tax season as a Sr. Tax Preparer.  Her and her husband, John enjoyed 37 years together before his untimely death in 2012.  They lived most of their married life in the Redondo Beach area.  They retired to the central coast of California 10 years ago to be closer to family.

Aileen is survived by her loving family of two brothers (Jack Wilson and Kenneth Wilson) three stepsons (John Bradbury, Robert Bradbury and James Tucker), one daughter (Paula Larrisey), twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ova Mae Wilson and her loving husband, John Tucker.

Memorial services for Aileen will be private.  In keeping with Aileen’s wishes, she will be interred at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in North Carolina alongside parents and grandparents.
