William Brooks was called to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 31, 2022.
Born on February 6, 1929, William was a native to Oklahoma and moved to California in April, 1942.
Bill served in the Army during the Korean War, VFW Post 97 Bakersfield. At 16, he became a Merchant Marine and traveled to Italy, Philippines and South America.
Coming from very difficult beginnings, the grace of God allowed William Brooks to forge his legacy in the oil service industry. His own inventions proved to be pioneering at the time and he was able to found Brooks Oilfield Services. In addition, he loved sailing and took great passion in being on the ocean, especially with his family.
Until the Lord called him home, he used his quick wit to make his family and many friends smile and told stories of his core beliefs; hard work, honesty and perseverance.
