Beloved mother and grandmother, Wanda Faye Olson, of Pismo Beach, passed away November 22, 2023, at the age of 88.  She was born in Checotah, Oklahoma, to Omer and Addie Ledbetter.  She came to California as soon as she graduated from high school and moved to the central coast in 1960.

Wanda was preceded in death by her dear husband, Gary Olson.  She leaves behind her brother Bill Ledbetter, two sons, Randy (Kim), Gary Okerson, her grandchildren, Cody Okerson, Kyle Okerson, Carson Okerson and Amy Shock and her niece Gwen Dill.

Wanda spent 25 years in food service, in the Lucia Mar School District.  After she retired from the school district, she went to work at Walmart, in Arroyo Grande, California. She was one of the first greeters, when Walmart opened in enjoyed 10 more years working at the store.

Wanda loved living on the central coast, near the ocean and will be remembered for her big heart, quick wit and formidable nature.
