In Loving Memory of Trenidad Castilleja Jr.
Trenidad Castilleja Jr., born on September 2, 1977, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, entered the world with a smile that would remain a defining part of him throughout his life. He was lovingly welcomed by his parents, Debra Castilleja and Trenidad Castilleja Sr., and grew to become the oldest of five siblings. He is survived by his mother, Debra Castilleja; his ex-wife, Velma Henning; his four sisters, Jerene, Trina, Shyla, and Loniece Castilleja; as well as his two beloved children, Trenidad Andrew Castilleja and Rosella Deauna Castilleja, who were the light of his life.
Trenidad lived as a true free spirit—unbound by expectations and unapologetically himself. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially at the beach, where he felt most at home. Music was a constant companion in his life, with a deep love for rock and roll, though his appreciation extended to all genres. He had a curious mind and a passion for learning, often spending time reading and exploring new ideas. Trenidad could hold a conversation with anyone, anywhere—he had a rare gift for connecting with people. He never judged others by their status or circumstances and believed in treating everyone with equal respect and kindness. He chose his own path in life, never conforming to society’s expectations, and lived authentically in a way that inspired those around him. His spirit, his laughter, and his open heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Trenidad’s legacy lives on through his children, his family, and all those whose lives he touched with his genuine and free-spirited nature.
