Steven Roy Jones

Steven Roy Jones passed away on September 3, 2025, at his home in Paso Robles, California. Steven was born on May 10, 1953. He loved to fish and reminisce about vintage cars. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his country in the United States Navy from 1971 until 1974.

Steven had battled homelessness for the majority of his adult life but had recently moved into his own apartment in Paso Robles. This was something that Steven had worked toward for some time.

Steven is survived by his two daughters, Jessica Renee Troyer of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Angela Russell of Red Bluff, California, and one sister, Susan Jones. He was a proud grandpa to one granddaughter. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jones and Donalda P. Freer.

Interment for Steven will be at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Friday October 10th at 12:30 p.m.
