Shawn Brett Goddin

Shawn Brett Goddin was born October 27, 1957, in Glendale, California to John & Esther Goddin. He was 65 years old when he passed away on August 3, 2023. He graduated from Canoga Park high class of ‘76.

Of his many early jobs he worked at a donut shop and drove a van for Weight Watchers. In 1986 he joined the Navy and was stationed in Rota, Spain. He was a school bus driver for LAUSD and later at Lucia Mar Unified School District in Arroyo Grande until he retired. He was very dedicated to his job and loved the kids.

 No matter what the occasion you would always find Shawn in a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. He loved to watch Dodger baseball. He collected coins and a lot of other items. eBay was his friend. He loved seeing the space station fly over, or when Vandenberg was launching a rocket.

He was friendly to everyone and would greet you with a friendly Hi and a beautiful smile.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl of 37 years, along with his sister Debra and his nephew Dario. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
