Sally Jeanette Kadota

On September 8 Sally Kadota passed due to complications from a heart attack and stroke. Sally was born in the mid west and move to Southern California with her family in the 60’s. She followed her parents to the central coast to study at Cal Poly first in mathematics then switching to education gaining a degree and accreditation. She went on to teach at Dana Elementary where she made some life long friends. And through co-workers met Ken Kadota. After their marriage she entered the next chapter of her life becoming the “Domestic Goddess” that I knew her as. Ma was very active in volunteering at the local and school libraries. She also dictated textbook audio tapes for visually impaired students at Cal Poly. She was preceded in her death by husband Ken and Son Tye. Sisters Dorthy Rookerson & Joyce Byer. Niece Benda Rookerson. She is survived by sons Tom &Todd (Wendy). Niece Teresa (Tommy) and their children Chelsea, Alisha, & Mandy. And nephew Anthony Robles. Along with numerous other extended family. Following with Ma’s wishes no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers or Koden buy a child a book (or two)
