1943 – 2022

Roberta “Bobbie” Krup was born on September 10, 1943 in Fresno, CA to George and Ramona Silva. She grew up in Exeter and Visalia with three sisters and one brother.

Bobbie was always an excellent student. She attended and graduated from Chico State with a B.A. in Education. While attending Chico State, she met and married Robert Yarwood (now deceased) . They had two children, Ken Yarwood and Michelle Yarwood.

Not satisfied with teaching, Bobbie went back to school to become a Registered Nurse. She later went on to obtain a B.S. in Nursing. She married Leonard “Gary” Krup in 1981. Bobbie and Gary were married for forty-one years, living in Willows, Chico, and then Arroyo Grande.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Gary, her two children, numerous grandchildren, her two sisters and one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Arroyo Grande, CA on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11 am.

Bobbie’s mental and physical torment is now over. She suffered from several different cancers, chemotherapy treatments, radiation, numerous hospitalizations, along with pulmonary deficiencies and cardiac problems.
