Richard Wayne Moore

  Richard passed away peacefully at home in Arroyo Grande, California at the age of 86. He had battled cancer for the last few years.

  Richard was born in DuBois, PA to Wayne and Edna Moore. He was the oldest of three children survived by his brother Jerry and preceded in death by his sister Carol Ann.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; 2 children Leanna DeKing and Gregory Moore, 6 stepchildren and 10 grandchildren who will always remember him as the grandpa that loved to hike.

  Richard attended UCLA, earning a BS in Engineering and an MBA. He was a successful engineer, entrepreneur and management consultant. 

  Richard loved living on the central coast and enjoyed   the abundant local hiking trails. His presence was serine and genuine. He was loved by his extended family.
