Reina was the sixth child of eight born to Antonio Quintanar and Aurora Delgado Quintanar, born at Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo. Reina passed from this life January 4th 2025 at the home she helped to build,  with her family and friends at her bedside. Reina attended Oceano Elementary School, Judkins Middle School and Arroyo Grande High, graduating as a proud Eagle with the class of 1979.

      She was employed by T.R.W. Electronics, making components for the NASA Shuttle Program. She then had a 23 year career at Oceano Elementary School. For three years she was the Noon Duty Crossing Guard, and for 20 years she was a para professional. She was so proud to be helping to educate the children of her home town. Reina married Charles on November 21st 1981 and they just celebrated 43 years of marriage. She became a mother to Charles Royal, II in 1994. He was the sparkle in her eyes and her best friend.

      Reina is survived by her husband, Charles, son Charles, II, mother, Aurora Quintanar, sisters, Raquel Peters (Jim), Rebecca Quintanar, Rosemary Coggins, Rita Quintanar (Mondo) brothers Antonio Quintanar (Margaret), Richard Quintanar (June) Ruben Quintanar and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved and cherished so very much. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Quintanar and grandparents Blas and Felicidad Quintanar, Florentino and Maria Delgado.

     A Memorial Service will take place at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jose Rivera officiating.
