In Loving Memory of Philip J Rice
August 16, 1962 – December 19, 2025
Philip embraced life to his own Rhythm- Loud, Charismatic, and Free. He appreciated the simple things life had to offer with a deep Love for his Family, Friends, and Animals. He valued being surrounded by people he cared about most. Family BBQs and walking his dog on the beach were past time favorites. Nothing made him feel more alive than riding his Harley, sitting behind his Drums, and cruising his Dodge Truck.
Philip had a passion for listening to Rock N Roll and playing his drums no matter what time it was. He found freedom and joy riding on the open road blasting his music as loud as possible without a worry in the world. (You knew when Phil had arrived). Whether he was spending time on the Drums, detailing his Vehicles, driving his Truck, or riding his Harley it brought him a sense of peace and pride that only he could understand. It was his space, his inspiration, and a reflection of who he was and what he enjoyed.
Philip had a way of embracing life and making every moment count. Time with him was never just time – it was an experience. He made the most of it and ensured everyone else did too. He would accommodate whatever it took to bring people together and make memories that would last.
He will be deeply missed by his children Alissa and Tyler, along with his granddaughter Aliyah. His brother Rick, sister-in-law Karen, and his Pops, Bob. Along with Many Other Family and Friends who loved him.
Philip will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered for his Big Heart and the way he made life feel a little louder, freer, and better for those around him.
