Obituary for

Pauline (Penny) Beatrice Azaret

May 13, 1930 – October 2, 2025

Pauline Azaret was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1948. She worked as an executive secretary for RCA in New York City. Married in 1951 to Thomas Azaret, they subsequently lived in Norwalk, Connecticut; York, Pennsylvania; Rockville, Maryland and Hicksville, New York. Eventually they moved to California in 1960 residing in Palos Verdes, Poway, Olivenhain, and, finally, Pismo Beach in 2008. Pauline was a consummate homemaker, wonderful mother and an excellent bridge player.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Azaret; her parents, Gerard and Violetta Paquette and her sister, Dolores Menze.

She is survived by her three children, Patricia (Roger) Quintiliani of Oceanside, CA; Susan (Thomas) Davies of Pismo Beach, CA and Stephen (Cecilia) Azaret of Vancouver, WA; her six grandchildren, Gina Quintiliani, John Quintiliani, Peter Davies, Andrew (Julie) Davies, Jesse (Jahlysa) Azaret and Noah Azaret. She is also survived by her nephew, Gerard Menze, and her two nieces, Catherine George and Theresa Carney.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 800 Bello Street, Pismo Beach, CA on Friday, October 17 at 11:00 AM with recitation of the Holy Rosary preceding at 10:30 AM.

Reception in Mathias Hall following the funeral Mass.
