Nelson Robert Sjostrand

Nelson (Bob) Sjostrand died at his home on April 27, 2022 from pancreatic cancer.  Bob was born and raised in Minnesota.  He graduated from Osseo High School and the University of Minnesota.  He was an office manager for Jostens for 32 years being transferred to California in 1970.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pat and their 3 children:  Robert (Lori) and grandchildren Holden and Jordan; daughter Jean (Joe) and Steve (Andrea).

Bob was very proud of earning his private flying license.  He was an accomplished wood worker making many models and furniture for family and friends.  He loved sports of all kinds and was proud of the fact that his 1954-55 football team earned the first league trophy for Osseo High.  He enjoyed playing golf and even had a whole in one to his credit.

Bob and Pat traveled extensively and enjoyed cruising.  Bob loved being with family and friends and was a game master.  He delighted everyone with games, music and quizzes that he devised.  Bob is best described as smart and gentle with an engaging dry sense of humor.
