Michael “Jace” Bowron
May 11, 1980 – December 2, 2025
With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael “Jace” Bowron. Born May 11, 1980, in Hanford, Ca to Jeanne Preston (O’Donnell) and Steven Bowron Sr. Jace grew up in Tulare and Corcoran, Ca where he enjoyed spending countless hours at his Nana and Papa O’Donnell’s property and home. Jace attended Tulare Union High School and was known for driving his Chrysler Newport that was loud enough to be heard around town.
Jace lived with purpose and determination. His greatest dream was to build a life for his family on the Central Coast, and for the last 16 years he made that dream reality in Nipomo, California, surrounded by the people he loved most.
Jace is survived by his parents, Jeanne and Steven; his partner since 2008 and wife of eight years, Kari Bowron (Abney); their six children—Michael, Hailey, Aubrianna, Isaak, Shamus, and Domminic; and his beloved four-month-old granddaughter, Mariana. His kids were his entire world, and stepping into his “grandfather era” brought him unimaginable joy.
In 2019 Jace founded Brand X Water Well Service, quickly becoming a trusted pillar of the Central Coast community and a respected name in the water well industry. He took pride not only in his work but in teaching those around him—mentoring and sharing knowledge with fellow tradespeople and passing down skills and values to his own children.
A devoted husband, father, and new grandfather, Jace poured everything into his family. When he wasn’t out helping friends or serving customers, you’d find him doting on little Mariana or sharing quiet moments with Kari. His kindness, work ethic, and larger-than-life spirit touched everyone he met.
Jace’s absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, his community, and the industry he helped shape. He will be missed beyond words.
