Marilyn Marie-Louise (Bernede) McInerney

Marilyn McInerney, nee Bernede, died peacefully on Saturday, May 22. She was 90 years old. Born in New York, she moved to California in 1948. In 1963 she married her life partner, John, and they raised their family in North Hollywood, before retiring to Nipomo in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 46 years and is survived by her daughters Dorine McInerney, Debra Morris and Denise McInerney, sons-in-law Dave Suden and Raul Gonzalez, granddaughters Richelle Morris, Shoshana Truman, her husband Doug, and great-grandson Ryker Truman.

Chapel Service on Wednesday, May 26, at 2 PM. Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel followed by graveside service at Arroyo Grande Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to “Disabled American Veterans”.
