Margaret was an instructor at Cuesta College for 35 years. Her area of expertise was Early Childhood Education and all of its components. Margaret also served as Chair for Human Development Division till her retirement. Margaret also established and funded three scholarships at Cuesta College.
Margaret was a member of PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society. She was also a member of the Central Coast Renaissance Historical Society. She was an active participant and supporter of the "Ren Fair" for many years.
Margaret is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Guy Surian, and their two adult children; and her sister-in-law and husband, Gloria and Mike Johnson, and their three adult children and families. She is also survived by her husband/best friend, Raul, of 33 years, and their current four "fur children": Sasha, Dusty, Brooke and Donnie.
