Madelyn Lois Cartwright

Madelyn Lois Cartwright, age 84, of Atascadero, California passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022. She was in the presence of Ray, her loving husband of 55 years, who was by her side and holding her hand.
Her love for the Lord was the hallmark of her life. She could cite scripture for nearly any occasion or subject and remained curious, striving to learn more from God’s word. She gave without judgement to people she saw in need, to missionaries and to global child health organizations. She was also gifted with a beautiful singing voice, a lively sense of humor and had a great appreciation for the beauty in all things, especially in nature.
Madelyn loved her family and friends deeply and regularly prayed for them.  She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Cartwright and her children, Vincent Nix (Marcia), John Nix (Kelly) and Jenifer Tanis (Eric). Beloved grandchildren; Jacob and Savannah, John and Amy, Evan, Jesse and Jordan as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
