Lillian Denise Lozano-Young, 64, was reunited in heaven with her mother Isabel Lozano, brother, Diego Lozano and husband Daniel Young on Tuesday morning, February 16th 2021. Her final wish was honored at her son’s home in Arroyo Grande, which was to be with family when she passed.
She was born at The General Hospital in L.A. on November 11, 1956. Her stomping grounds included Echo Park, MacArthur Park, Boyle Heights and Hollywood. She graduated Belmont High in 1974 and later at COS Visalia studied child development and human psychology. In 1978 she joined the U.S. Army. During her military commitment she got married, had 2 children in Frankfurt, Germany and 1 in Kansas on U.S. Military bases. They raised their children in Woodlake, Exeter and Atascadero, California. On February 14th 1999, she was remarried to her Love Daniel Young of Atascadero.
Lilly loved reading and visiting the beach. She was intelligent and funny. She loved elephants, zebras, and the colors green and sea blue and fall leaves. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animal kind. She was the biggest Beatles fan. She loved music by Joni Mitchell, Diana Ross, The Rolling Stones and many more. She was a great cook (rice pilaf) and the best storyteller.
Above all, her faith in God almighty was unbreakable. She studied her bible often and read her daily bread.
She always encouraged compassion and strength in her children. She is missed so dearly.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Benny) Madrid, of Exeter. Son, Thomas J. Adkins of Exeter. Son Nathan (Jessi) Adkins of Arroyo Grande. Eldest sister Elizabeth Braden (Bob McClelland) (Eric and Lisa) of Tulare, California. Younger brother, Andrew (Susan) Lozano of Simi Valley, Ca. Granddaughter Sadie Madrid and Freddy Quintero of Exeter. Grandson’s Thomas, Johnny and Izayah Adkins of Exeter. Isaac and Jadon of Atascadero. And three great-granddaughters Nayeli, Carmen and Ezlyn Quintero.
Private Memorial services will be hopefully held in Tulare, Ca in April of this year after Covid19 delays. Information will post to Facebook. Special thanks to nurses and staff at Hospice of SLO and Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel for Cremation Services.
