Larry James Kroger, passed on May 24, 2024, at the age of 80.
He was born to Alfred and Mary Kroger in Nebraska. Larry went to
Atascadero High School, graduated with the Class of "63". He went on to play football
at Hancock College under Coach John Madden. He was in the Army in Vietnam.
He had 50+ years working as a Pipefitter with Local 403. During most of those years he worked
at Diablo Canyon. Larry loved walking his dog Jersey through the Village of Arroyo Grande.
He would say 'Good Morning" to the people he saw on his walk, no one was a stranger.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Al & Mary Kroger. He is survived by his wife,
of forty years Lori Kroger, his son Chad & daughter in law Gina Kroger, brother & sister
in law Al & Barbara Kroger, brother J. R. Kroger, and many nieces & nephews.
We'll have a service at Marshall-Spoo, 1239 Longbranch Ave., Grover Beach,
on August 3rd, at 11am. A Celebration of Life at our home after the service from 12:30pm
till 3:30pm. 531 Fieldview Pl., Arroyo Grande.
I want to thank you for all of the well wishes & many kind words. Larry truly will be missed
by family & many friends.
