Jim, a beloved field engineer at Revasum, & lifelong resident of San Luis Obispo, CA, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 59.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Leuthold, Merced, CA

Sister, Valerie Leuthold, Palm Desert, CA, her 3 daughters, Heather (Jovanni) & son, Jaxon, Thermal, CA

Savannah & daughter, Everly, Indio, CA

Niece, Danielle McKenna & her children, Arion & Kaia, El Paso, TX

Nephew, Sean McKenna, Nipomo, CA

So many, many friends as Jim knew no stranger!

He attended San Luis Obispo High School, as did his sister, Valerie and Mom, Trish.

Soon after graduating he discovered his love for engineering.  This eventually led to a successful career as a brilliant engineer who made remarkable contributions to the field of precision manufacturing. 

He lived an exciting life where he traveled the world fixing some of technologies biggest challenges, meeting friends along the way.

Jim had many passions in life. He was a loving, caring father to Kevin.

An award-winning chef.

Avid music lover who never passed up an opportunity to play his guitar to entertain you or a crowd - one of his finest qualities.

Jim will be remembered as a kind & generous man, hard worker, innovator, loving son & brother, father & a loyal friend!

His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who got to know him.

His spirit is surrounding all those who love & think about him.

I know he is resting in peace.

 A celebration of Life will be set later this year in September for what would have been his “60th” birthday.

All are welcome to attend as we listen to great music and raise a cold Coors Light to all the good memories we had with him!
