Jacklyn Grimshaw, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed peacefully into Heaven on December 11, 2024, at 2:17 a.m. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and devotion, and she will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. Jacklyn is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Ed Grimshaw, whose enduring love and partnership defined her life. She was the proud mother of Randy Halliday and Sheri Yeargin, whose lives she enriched with her unwavering support and boundless care. Jacklyn also shared a special bond with her brother, Dennis Hail, and welcomed her son-in-law, Joshua Yeargin, into her family with open arms. Her grandchildren, Drew, William, and Allie, were the light of her life, and she adored them beyond measure. Known for her warmth, strength, and nurturing spirit, Jacklyn leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends. Her gentle soul and compassionate heart touched the lives of everyone she met, creating memories that will be treasured forever. A visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach. A celebration of Jacklyn’s life will follow on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Grover Beach Pentecostal Church of God.
