It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Henri A. Pepin on June 22, 2021.

Henri was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and moved, with his father, mother and two sisters, to Santa Barbara, CA during his third grade year. He served in Vietnam as a Canadian citizen in the United States Army working as a helicopter technician. After his honorable discharge he returned to Canada where he began his family. His heart longing to return to the U.S., he moved back to California’s Central Coast in 1986 where he has since resided. In 1996 he proudly became an American Citizen.

Henri was passionate about cars and worked as a mechanic much of his life. He retired from RG Next in December 2017, where he worked as a telemetry technician on Vadenberg Airforce base. He was very intelligent, hilariously sarcastic, loved to tinker and could fix just about anything.

He is survived by his loving wife Ginette Pepin, his son Alex Pepin and daughter-in-law Colete Maurice, son Marc Langlois, daughter Michelle Machado and son-in-law Neil Machado, his grandsons Travis and Ryan, as well as his two sisters Michelle Goulet and Nicole Hilton along with both of their beautiful families.

He is loved and will be greatly missed.
