Glenn Wilson Elliott

Glenn Wilson Elliott was born on January 20th, 1949 to Joe and Dessie Elliott and passed on May 3rd, 2025.  He was raised in Santa Maria, California.  Forever a Santa Maria resident, Glenn attended local schools, including Santa Maria High School, where he graduated in 1967.  When he wasn’t working, he had a number of varied interests and hobbies over the years.  He played hard and enjoyed the friends he made while bowling and racing cars and motorcycles.  Glenn was also a huge hockey fan, always supporting his beloved Los Angeles Kings.  He was not just a fan, but could be found playing roller hockey at the Central Coast Sports Arena, well into his 60s.  He never missed an opportunity to talk hockey or mentor rookie players in the league.  Glenn was also an avid astronomer; he often shared photos of the night sky that he took with his telescope.

Glenn was also a proud Mason and a member of Central Coast Lodge #237.  He was an active member of over 54 years.  He joined Guadalupe Lodge #237 in 1971, where his father was also a mason.  Glenn remained active throughout the years, both during and after Guadalupe Lodge merged with Arroyo Grande Lodge to form Central Coast Lodge #237.  Glenn held a number of positions, including Worshipful Master and was the lodge Secretary at the time of his passing.  Glenn received the 50-year Membership Pin as well as the prestigious Hiram Award for his service to the lodge.  He was a board member of the Arroyo Masonic Temple Association and a member of the Investment Committee.  In addition to these commitments, Glenn was also a member of Al Malika Shrine and The Scottish Rite.

Glenn was predeceased by his parents Joe and Dessie, as well as his sister, Barbara Elliott.  He is survived by a sister, Sherry Crawford of Texas.

Memorial services for Glenn will be held at Hesperian Masonic Lodge, 700 Lakeview Rd., in Santa Maria, California, on June 23rd at 6pm.
