It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Franklin Delano Hilton, lovingly known as Frank, on March 22, 2023. Born to Thomas Earl Hilton and Iva Ellen Hilton (Montgomery) on August 23, 1939, Frank was a well-known and respected member of his community on the beautiful Central Coast of California. As a family man, he cherished spending time with his loved ones and raising his sons.

After graduating high school, Frank joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served his country with bravery and patriotism until 1961. He married Cora Lee Guthrie on January 25, 1959, and together they had two sons, Frankie Lance and Marcus Scott.

Frank started his career as an apprentice carpenter and worked his way up to become a foreman with Madonna Construction before retiring as a bridge superintendent with R Burke Construction. He was dedicated to his craft and took great pride in his work building bridges.

In addition to his career, Frank was an entrepreneur at heart and owned a vast amount of real estate. He also had a ranch in Los Berros, California where he raised goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and tended to an impressive vegetable garden. He loved sharing the bounty of his land with his community during the fall pumpkin picking season.

While some may have had a complicated relationship with Frank, it cannot be denied that he left a lasting impression on those around him. He was known for his unwavering convictions and strong personality, never shying away from speaking his mind or standing up for what he believed in. Even those who disagreed with him respected him for his tenacity and determination.
