Ernest Lester Bankston

Ernest (Ernie) was born in Silverton, Oregon during the year 1950. He was the son of William and Juliana Bankston. One of six offspring, he was raised on a farm. Ernie became a welder and married Linda Weed. They had two children, Brandt and Becci. After welding with Chicago Bridge & Iron Company, he settled in Barstow, California and founder a vehicle repair shop. Later, Ernie moved to Pomona and established a demolition and rigging business that removed and installed HVAC units for various companies. After Linda's passing, He remarried Lewanna Williams. They traveled and retired to Nipomo, Ca. where Ernie constructed specialty vehicles and enjoyed friendships until his passing early in 2024.
