Emma left Evansville, Indiana to follow Linda to Chicago for better work opportunities. Then later she decided to join Mom, Linda, Ken, Sue, Lucas and Eva to California.
Before residing at Bayside, Emma would visit Ken and Linda two times a week for dinner and movies.
She would talk about recipes and what I could have added to the meal we were eating. She also enjoyed an occasional glass of vino. We shared many remembrances of our childhood.
Emma worked with me at my insurance agency and was a great help with clients and tried to improve my computer skills.
She loved collecting treasures, cooking and she loved her dogs: Asta, Sweetie and those in between.
Emma fancied herself as a gourmet cook and had in excess of 75 cookbooks. Trying and sharing new recipes was pure joy for her.
She also frequented local thrift shops and had difficulty saying NO to the treasures she would discover.
Emma belonged to the Women of the Moose in Pismo Beach and shared her cooking skills with many happy fellow Mooses.
Her final years were spent at Bayside Care Center in Morro Bay, where she was lovingly cared for.. They treasured the recipes she shared with them.
Emma was pre-deceased by her mother, Eva Reis Vincent, brother, Don, and sister, Sue Vincent.
She is survived by sisters Nancy (Steve) Mudd, Linda (Ken) Osty and Patti Vincent (Don) and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
