Elizabeth Ann Pronto

Elizabeth “Betty” Pronto (Favreau) left this world to be with the Lord on August 4, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas, daughters Debra and Cynthia, and son Carlo.  A few weeks after her passing, her son Nicholas Jr. joined the reunion in heaven.  Betty is survived by her daughters Anna Laughrey, Ramona Purkey and Michelle Boyd. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty’s life was rich with love.  There was always an open invitation to her dining table, especially for the holidays.  Although she was busy with being a financial planner and tax preparer, Betty found time to enjoy her passions.  She loved sewing, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and making fruit jam.  For several years she volunteered as the community leader of a local 4-H club. Attending the county fair and cheering on family and friends showing animals was always a highlight of her summers.

A graveside service will be held on what would have been her 87th birthday, September 7th, at 3:00 PM.  Due to the current pandemic challenges, there will not be a reception following the service.  In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
