Ethel Marie Rogers, a woman of deep faith, artistic spirit, and boundless love for her family, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, in Arroyo Grande, a city in San Luis Obispo County, California. Born on December 2, 1928, in Exeter, a city in Tulare County, California. She devoted her life to nurturing her children and embracing her passions for both art and her faith in Jesus.

Ethel Marie is predeceased by her parents, Maisie Louella Bainter and Mattie Eugene Rogers, her beloved sisters, Maxine Barnette and Gloria Bonner, her cherished husband, Harley Duvall Scott, her second husband, James Andrews who was a cherished stepfather to her children; her sons, Ronald Lee Scott and an infant son, Scott.

She is survived by her children, who will carry on her legacy of love:

.   Linda Marie and her Husband Hadley Spencer, her two children, grandchildren and great grandchild

.   Terry Wayne Scott, his child, and grandchildren

.   Jeanette Leah Lewis, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren

And her much loved stepchildren

   And cherished the many many friends in her life. Her favorite daily task was to make them all coffee each morning.

Ethel Marie’s gentle spirit and devotion to her family, friends and faith will   forever be remembered by all who knew her.
