Christina Joy (Borsos) Menghrajani

October 1, 1984 – May 31, 2024

Christina was born on October 1, 1984, in Camarillo, California to Debbie and Gary Borsos.  She attended elementary and high school in Camarillo, CA. As a child she enjoyed ballet dancing, Indian Princesses, reading books, and music. Later, Christina took karate lessons, played soccer and basketball, and continued to play JV and Varsity basketball in high school. She enjoyed school, but mostly enjoyed being with her friends. She loved and cared for her friends & family dearly.  Christina loved the rain, hearing the ocean waves and walking on the beach.

After graduating from high school, Christina continued her education at Moorpark Community College and went on to receive a B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  She received a Master’s Degree in Marriage, & Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, Malibu. Christina began her career with the County of San Luis Obispo Behavioral, Mental Health Department providing service to children in the public school system.  Christina more recently was employed in Santa Barbara County Behavioral, Mental Health to continue her work with children in the schools.  She loved working with children in difficult situations, connecting with them on an emotional level, lending a sympathetic ear, and doing what she could to help them through their difficult times.

Christina is survived by her daughter Ava, former husband Dave Menghrajani; her parents Debbie and Gary Borsos, brother Jason Borsos, Jason’s wife Valerie Melendez and their daughter Layla; her aunts, uncles and cousins, a long list of friends and colleagues. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Augustine and Barbara Vargas; Ralph Borsos and Virginia Nolan; Aunt Linda & Uncle Dan, Uncle Rick & Uncle Bill.

Christina passed into the arms of God on May 31, 2024. Christina was 39 years old. She brought love and joy to the world and touched so many lives, she made a difference in the world, bringing more love and kindness to us all.
