Belia Marie Lemos

November 13, 1934 – September 5, 2025

Belia Marie Lemos, 90, of Grover Beach California, passed away on September 5th 2025, surrounded at home by family.

Belia was born in Morro Bay California on November 13th, 1934 born to Jose and Manuela Morales. She grew up on the Nagano Ranch in Morro Bay with her 3 siblings. She was a graduate of San Luis Obispo High School. On October 31st 1953, Belia married Fred Lemos, of Oceano, and made her long-term home in Grover Beach.  During their 71 years of marriage, they raised a family of four children. Over the years the family grew with Belia’s pride and joy her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Belia enjoyed traveling with her family, painting landscapes of local areas and supporting all her grandchildren’s many activities.

Belia was survived by her Husband Fred Lemos, her children Virginia (Suzie) Lunt, Debbie Olivarria, Alfred (Butch) Lemos and siblings Virginia Lara and Robert Paul Morales. Belia is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Manuela Morales, her brother Raymond Morales and son Michael Lemos.  

A Rosary for Belia will be held at Marshall Spoo on September 24th at 6pm. A Funeral Mass to honor Belia’s life will be held at St. Patrick’s Church on September 25th at 11am. Burial will follow at Arroyo Grande cemetery.
