Barbara Jean Lopes

Barbara Jean Lopes passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 77 after a  short illness.  She was born in Lemoore to Albert and Belmeda Toste on October 7, 1942. Barbara was a longtime Central Coast resident. She was preceded in death by her husband John R, sister Lora Mae and niece Teri Ann. Barbara is survived by her sister Dianna Santos and brother-in-law Richard, children Mike Lopes and wife Samantha, Richard Lopes and wife Lori, Johnna Tuson and husband Richard (Dickie).  Grandchildren Cody Lopes, Kyle Lopes, Lora Lopes, Garrett Lopes and wife Kelsey, Lauren Pearce and husband KC.  Great grandchildren Devon, Madison, McKinley, Everleigh and Logann, nephew Ted Santos and niece Leeann Errotabere and husband Andy and great nieces Andrea and Nicole.  She is also survived by Corley girls – Chrissy, Cindy and Chandy.  Barbara worked several years at Giant Food Market and later retired from San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department.  Graveside services to be held at Arroyo Grande Cemetery on September 18, 2020 at 10:00am.
