Audrey Ann Howard

Our loving mother, Audrey Ann Howard, went home to her Lord on Tuesday, Oct 3rd. At 87, she passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family.  

Born to Robert & Mary Pepper in Pittsburgh, PA on May 13, 1936. She is proceeded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Harold, “Archie” Howard, siblings: Mary “Pep” (Don) Bauer, Robert (Barbara) Pepper, Tom Pepper, and sister-in-law, Madeline Pepper.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Darlene) Howard, Jeff Howard, Jill (Erik) Tweedie, Jenny (Dana) Shaheen, and Michael Howard.

Grandchildren:  Melissa (Brady) Beckstead, Ashley Moses, Madison Shaheen, Rachel and Liam Tweedie, Quinn Zepeda, Cory and Casey Grant, Kaden Howard, Cambria (Bo) Dam-Mikkelsen, Grace (Mikey) Ross, Jackson, Lincoln, and Daniel Howard, and six great grandchildren.

Siblings: Ed Pepper, John (Janice) Pepper, Rita Breyer, sister-in-law Audrey Pepper, and countless nieces and nephews. 

She loved the Lord, her family, her caregivers, live theatre, photography, music, the beach, hummingbirds, and her little dog, Shadow.

An entrepreneur and longtime business owner of The Trailer Hitch RV Center, Nipomo CA est. 1968 as well as Clancy’s Ltd., an upscale women’s clothing boutique 1977 – 1986. 

Visitation on Wed., Oct. 18th from 4-6pm followed by Rosary at 6pm at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel, Grover Beach.

Funeral Mass on Thurs., Oct. 19th at 11am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Arroyo Grande followed by reception at Edward’s Barn, Nipomo.

Audrey loved color so please feel free to wear some.
