Aubrey Murray, age 22, of Encinitas, CA passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born in La Jolla, CA and grew up in Encinitas, attending Capri Elementary, Diegueno Middle School, and San Dieguito High School Academy where she was a member of the Japanese honor society and lacrosse team. She was a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying Electrical Engineering and Physics. She was an outstanding student and a lifelong avid learner.

Aubrey was a bright light. She was a kind-hearted and gentle soul. She loved working on cars with her dad, walking her dogs Scruffy and Barney with her mom, and taking beach walks and getting boba with her sister. She loved the challenges of working on puzzles and building Legos. She loved the Japanese language and culture and had the wonderful opportunity to do a summer program in Japan while at San Dieguito Academy. She enjoyed gaming with her friends and snowboarding with her father and friends. She also developed a keen interest in rock climbing, spending many hours on a climbing wall and several weekends at Pinnacles National Park, climbing and hiking.

Aubrey is survived by her mother Sarah, father Michael, sister Ella, and many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 5:00 pm at the Shadowridge Golf Club, 1980 Gateway Dr, Vista, CA 92081.
