Marie Therese (Curran) Horn

Marie Therese Curran-Horn passed away peacefully with her children by her side on 9/26/17 in Arroyo Grande, CA. She is survived by her son, Jay Horn, daughters, Marguerite Harris, Anna Marie Horn, Ramona Horn, her brother Robert Curran, and her granddaughter Rachel Harris.

Marie was born on September 14th, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, to Joseph J. Curran and Mary A. Curran. She graduated from Marymount University with a B.A. in History. With her passion for adventure, she went to work for Pan Am Travel and moved to San Francisco, CA. She met and married Dr. Gerard Horn and they raised their children in Santa Cruz, CA.   Marie lived most of her life in the greater Bay Area where she worked for the County of Santa Clara.  She was active in her church, The Church of the Resurrection. In 2014, she moved to Arroyo Grande, CA to be near her family and resided at the Wyndham Residences. 

Marie lived a full and active life. She was a life learner, with a craving for travel and adventure.  She was never the type of woman to allow others to limit her, and that fortitude and grit carried her through her entire life.
