Cynthia Jean Pronto

Cynthia Jean Pronto, 59, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2017, at her home in San Luis Obispo. Cynthia was born in Massachusetts on September 14, 1957. 

While living on the Central Coast, Cynthia dedicated more than twenty years to her career at CAPSLO.  She was a dedicated administrative assistant, and took pride in organizing large events.  Her selfless nature was evident to all who worked with her.

For many years she battled critical health challenges with courage and strength that marveled everyone close to her. She has forever touched the lives of those she loved through her merciful heart, generosity, kindness, encouragement, and wisdom.  Cynthia will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends.

Cynthia is survived by her son Dominic Rodriguez (Rosalie), grandchildren Reyes, Adreana, Nickolas, Destiny, Richard, Gabriel, and great-grandchild Jareth.  She is also survived by her mother Elizabeth Pronto, sisters Anna Laughrey (Michael), Mona Purkey, Michelle Boyd (Steve), and brother Nicholas Pronto. She impacted the lives of numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  Cynthia was preceded in death by her father Nicholas Pronto, sister Debra, and brother Carlo.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29th, at Arroyo Grande Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Laguna Lake Mobile Estates Clubhouse, 1801 Prefumo Canyon Road, San Luis Obispo.
